Bandai Namco Reveals Twin Mirror Gameplay Trailer

Twin Mirror was revealed back in June. After the initial reveal, more information has been brought to light about the nature of this episodic game. And now, its publisher Bandai Namco has released a four-minute gameplay trailer from Paris Games Week 2018.

As are games from Dontnod, Twin Mirror will be a narrative-driven title. To see such content and quality from the game when previously only Life is Strange 2 was known to be in development, is a shock and satisfying surprise given the amount of quality Dontnod has been offering from its games recently.

Samuel, an investigative journalist, makes his return home to Basswood, West Virginia. Samuel makes this journey home following a recent break-up, and also returns to attend the funeral for his best friend. But things take a turn for the worst when Samuel wakes up in a hotel room with his shirt covered in blood and no recollection of the night before. To find the truth Samuel must embark on a twisted investigation leading to a look into Samuels own mind. If you missed it, LoadingXP featured an article with the previous developer diary which further went into story details.

Within the game is The Double. As alluded to in the trailer, The Double will at times try to hinder you or maybe help. It is up to the player to make the ultimate decision on what is happening and how the game will progress. It looks to be another hit from developer Don’t Nod and will surely spark debate for the topics it covers.

Twin Mirror will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It will come out at some point in 2019. Keep up to date for more details on LoadingXP.
