10 New Titles Coming to Xbox Game Pass in September

Microsoft recently dropped some good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers by announcing 10 new titles coming to Microsoft’s subscription service this September. In a recent breakdown on the company’s blog, Microsoft outlined what players can expect to see in the Game Pass library this September; including original Microsoft IP , such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and indie favorites, such as Manual Samuel.

Launched in June of last year, Game Pass was Microsoft’s introduction into the ever-growing ecosystem of subscription-based entertainment – joining the ranks of EA Access, Netflix, and PlayStation Now. The initial launch of the program boasted over 100 games; including installations in some of gaming’s most notable franchises, such as Halo, Gears of War, and Metal Gear.

As the service progresses, Microsoft continues to make new titles available, paired with other exclusive perks. Alongside a large game library, Game Pass subscribers receive up to 20% off of  any game purchased from the Game Pass library.

At the launch of the program, Microsoft also announced that first-party Microsoft releases will be available via Game Pass on the games’ release date – we have seen this with titles such as Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2, in addition to the future release of Forza Horizon 4.

In an attempt to achieve their mission to create new opportunities for developers and gamers, Microsoft will be making the following games available for game pass next month:

Halo: The Master Chief CollectionAvailable September 1

Aven Colony – Available September 1

Quantum Break – Available September 1

Shadow Warrior 1 – Available September 1

Sky Force Reloaded – Available September 1

Manual Samuel – Available September 1

Snake Pass – Available September 1

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Available September 1

InnerSpace – Available September 1

Onrush – Available September 5

While it is exciting to see that Microsoft continues to expand its library for Game Pass subscribers, it will be interesting to see if they will catch up to other subscription services such as PlayStation Now, which currently offers over 650 games for $19.99 a month. If you are wanting to hop into a new game or relive old classics, Xbox is offering a 14-day free trial for Game Pass, which costs $9.99 a month after the trial expires.
