Our 5 Most Anticipated:

  • Destiny 2: Forsaken

The massive expansion for Destiny 2 is bringing a host of updates, including new subclasses, weapons, Destinations like Dreaming City, and the opportunity to finally get revenge on Cayde’s killers.

Spider-Man has had nearly a decade’s worth of experience being a superhero, and now players will feel the power of a superhero who is more experienced. Insomniac Games has re-imagined classic characters and villains, in an action-packed game where New York is a playground of seemingly endless possibilities.

The third entry in the rebooted Tomb Raider series is being lauded as Lara’s most defining moment yet. The dangers in the lost city of Paititi will push her to her limits, mentally and physically, in ways we haven’t yet seen in previous games.

  • Transference

Though Transference will be launching on console, from what we’ve seen of the game, it really shines in VR. The psychological thriller will put players into the experiment of a corrupt scientist, who has designed a chilling data simulation of his family. Switching between three family members, players will have to solve the mystery behind the simulation.

The sequel to Life is Strange is leaving behind Max, Chloe, and the town of Arcadia Bay in favor of a new narrative. Brothers, Sean and Daniel are forced to leave their home in Seattle after an unfortunate accident. The two brothers make their way to Mexico, all while trying to conceal the tragedy and the supernatural power that may have caused it.

September is going to be a packed month. Let us know which game releases you are most looking forward to!

Tori is originally from Rapture but now she lives in Chicago. She enjoys open world RPGs, a good narrative-driven game, and is probably the only person still watching The Walking Dead.
