Rumor: PlayStation Plus August Lineup Leaked

If rumours are to be believed, next month’s PlayStation Plus games were leaked. If the leaks turn out to have some truth to them, then the PlayStation community should like what is on offer in August.

According to Happy Gamer, Glitched Africa has received a photo from a reader, revealing the two titles with the PS Plus logo. The supposedly free titles are both EA, one being UFC 3 and the other being Star Wars Battlefront 2. Both of these games are worthy of being part of PS Plus; not many gamers would have complaints in regards to EA’s two titles.

This month’s line up was Horizon Chase Turbo and Detroit: Become Human which replaced original entry PES 2019. The reason for this wasn’t revealed, however, the change could well have been that many players complained about Konami’s title, calling the month as a whole lacklustre. The switch-up certainly pleased many, as Detroit: Become Human was a real treat for PS Plus subscribers.

With the change to this month’s line up there could well be another change to next months, assuming these leaks are correct. Star Wars Battlefront 2 certainly makes sense as a free game at some point in the next couple of months, with the final part of the sequel Star Wars trilogy releasing in December.

While it’s likely to be another week before we know if the PlayStation Plus games were leaked, there is still plenty of time to grab this month’s games if you haven’t already. Included with Detroit: Become Human is Heavy Rain, meaning that technically Sony gave away three games in July, all of which are titles worthy of owning.
