Devil May Cry V Coming March 2019, New Gameplay Shown

Capcom has confirmed that Devil May Cry V will be launching on March 8, 2019. The wait for this anticipated new entry isn’t very far. In the meantime, you can feast your eyes on some awesome gameplay from the Gamescom trailer, which you can view below. It shows off tons of combos and cool things you can when playing as Nero. We also got a few quick looks at some of the bosses and they are fantastic.

The combat looks fast-paced and action heavy. In other words, how it should be. It also looks outright crazy at times and bursting with creativity. The part where Nero starts using his robot-hand as a hoverboard is so out there, that it actually works.

Even though it is only a few minutes of gameplay, Devil May Cry V seems to be coming along nicely. The action is great, graphics are good and what little we’ve heard of the soundtrack is absolutely rocking. Even if you haven’t played Devil May Cry before, you still have a kick-ass action game to look forward to. We also get to see Dante in action, who naturally brings a motorbike to a sword fight. He also looks pretty grizzled with that gruff beard so it will be interesting to see what that’s all about. This game is looking better every time we see it.

Lately, it seems Capcom has been on an unstoppable high. Monster Hunter World and Resident Evil 7 were huge hits. The upcoming Mega Man 11 and Devil May Cry V not only look great but are reviving franchises people were starting to think had died. To see them come back so strong after the controversy with Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is heartening, to say the least.

What do you think of Devil May Cry V so far? Are you enjoying Capcom’s recent resurgence? Let us know in the comments below!
