Bethesda E3 Showcase Set for June 9
Bethesda has announced that it will hold its fifth annual E3 showcase on Sunday, June 9 at 5:30pm PST. According to the announcement, the showcase will feature an “in-depth look at DOOM Eternal plus much, much more.”
An image that Bethesda released to commemorate the announcement can be viewed below. It shows stars in a sky forming “#BE3,” which could be a hint that more will be shown for Starfield, which is currently in development at Bethesda Game Studios.
Bethesda Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines said that a proper sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Colossus will “absolutely” happen, so we could see an announcement for that as well. At last year’s E3, Bethesda announced the co-op focused Wolfenstein: Youngblood and VR spin-off Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot.
The showcase will be streamed live on Bethesda’s Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Mixer, and Facebook Live accounts, but fans in the L.A. area will also have a chance to attend in person. Additional details for the event will be released “soon.”
Bethesda’s showcase at E3 2018 had quite a few reveals and surprises. It included the debut of Fallout: 76, as well as announcements for DOOM Eternal, the aforementioned Wolfenstein titles, Starfield, and The Elder Scrolls VI.
