PlayStation will be streaming a State of Play in just a few hours, and this time it’s all about Sucker Punch’s upcoming, new IP Ghost of Tsushima.
This eighteen-minute State of Play will focus completely on the gameplay for Ghost of Tsushima, which is something we haven’t really seen during the game’s development. We got a short look at it during E3 2018, but today will be our first proper look at the game since it was first announced at Paris Games Week 2017. Since today will be the first time many folks will see the combat and how the game runs, this particular State of Play is a big one for Sucker Punch, and could be a deciding factor for people who might still be on the fence about purchasing it.
Ghost of Tsushima was pushed from its initial release date of June 26 and will now release on July 17, just one month after PlayStation’s second biggest end-of-generation exclusive, The Last of Us Part II.
The livestream today will not include any news or updates about PlayStation 5. It’s only meant to showcase Ghost of Tsushima.
The State of Play airs today, May 14th at 1:00 PT/ 4:00pm ET on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. You can also watch it here on LoadingXP, with the embedded video below.
