What to Expect from Shadow of the Tomb Raider Announcement
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is not exactly the best-kept secret in gaming. Rumors have been circulating about Lara Croft’s next adventure since 2016 when a Reddit user noticed the name of the game on someone’s laptop on the train.
Square Enix currently has a countdown going that is leading up to some big Tomb Raider news tomorrow, and many fans have already guessed the big news is Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be releasing this fall. September, to be exact.
While the official Tomb Raider website promises the announcement is coming tomorrow, March 15, 2018 at 6:00am PDT (9:00am EST), a quick inspect of the HTML spoils the news already:
“Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the climactic finale of Lara’s origin story. Available September 14, 2018.”
When the news officially breaks tomorrow, it’s safe to assume a reveal trailer will be coming along with. For those who can’t wait until tomorrow morning, though, a teaser trailer has already been leaked.
