Watch the Official Hitman 2 Gameplay Launch Trailer

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Hitman 2, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive recently released the gameplay launch trailer for the game, along with details about the Elusive Target missions.

Last month, IO Interactive revealed that Sean Bean would star in the first Elusive Target mission, taking on the role of former MI5 agent Mark Faba. Codename: The Undying. Fans were given the opportunity to vote on a unique object to unlock in this first Elusive Target mission, and the official Hitman Twitter account revealed the Explosive Pen was the winner. The mission is appropriately named “Explosive Penmanship” and goes live on November 20th.

The gameplay launch trailer invites players to “make the world your weapon” and even showcases a few accolades that praise the series for being “at its peak”. We get a quick flash of the new Sniper Assassin mode, which brings a multiplayer experience to the series for the first time; and the Ghost Mode, which features 1v1 multiplayer competition, as players try to assassinate more targets than their opponent.

Sniper Assassin mode is available right now as an early access bonus for players who have pre-ordered Hitman 2. 

Hitman 2 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13th. Full game early access is available now for those who pre-ordered Gold Edition and Collector’s Edition. Check out the full gameplay launch trailer below.
