Vampyr is Heading to Nintendo Switch

DONTNOD Entertainment’s Vampyr will soon sink its teeth into the Nintendo Switch. In a financial report from Vampyr’s publisher Focus Home Interactive, it was stated:

“In Q3, the Group will continue to maximise the potential of the Vampyr licence. After the game’s impressive success on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it will be Nintendo Switch’s turn to welcome the DontNod title to reach an even wide audience.”

The above quote is all that’s mentioned in the report regarding the port, and since we’ve already passed Q3 of 2018, perhaps Focus Home Interactive is looking toward a 2019 release. This port would also make Vampyr the first game of DONTNOD’s to be released on the Nintendo Switch, as Remember Me and the episodic adventure, Life is Strange,  are not currently available on the console.

In recent months, Vampyr has been getting a lot of attention. This unexpected announcement of a Switch release comes on the heels of Fox21 securing the rights for a TV show, and with the game getting two brand-new modes.

The game was released on June 5, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
