The PlayStation Plus March lineup has been announced, and there are two notable yet wildly different titles this month that might entice some PlayStation users to finally purchase the subscription.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
Originally released in 2007, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare took the franchise in a fresh direction, with the introduction of modern weapons and technology, a new campaign style with intertwining stories, and more. An instant classic for the series, the game was fully remastered in 2016 for this generation’s consoles/platforms. Experience it in 4K with a PS4 Pro and a 4K display.
The Witness
Eight years after the release of 2008’s Braid, developer Jonathan Blow came back with its follow-up, The Witness. Set on a deserted island, The Witness is a unique puzzler packed with well-designed challenges and has been recognized for its achievement in environmental storytelling.
Both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness will be available for PS Plus users from March 5th to April 1st. There’s still time to download the PS Plus games from February if you haven’t done so already.
PlayStation also reminded folks that PlayStation 3 and Vita titles will no longer be part of the subscription service beginning on March 8th, so download the following games from February, while you still can:
Divekick, PS3 (Cross-buy with PS Vita)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3
Gunhouse, PS Vita (Cross-buy with PS4)
Rogue Aces, PS Vita (Cross-buy with PS4)
The PS Plus subscription is $9.99/month, $24.99 for three months, and $59.99 for a year.
