PS5 Hardware Design and Configurations Revealed
Sony revealed the PS5 hardware during today’s PlayStation live stream, and it is easily the most striking console we’ve seen so far from the Japanese giant. In addition, it was revealed that the console will ship in two configurations: a digital-only edition and a more traditional version with an Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.
The stream also gave us a look at a variety of accessories for the PS5, including a new wireless headset, HD camera, and a charging station for the DualSense controller.
The gaming community has been waiting for the PS5 hardware to be revealed for some time, but potential buyers will have to wait to get more information on the console. According to a press release from Sony Interactive Entertainment, the company will “announce pricing and additional details for PlayStation 5 at a later date.”
