Prey’s Twitter Account Teases New Content
The official Twitter account for Prey is teasing some major new content in the (possible) form of a DLC. Though it’s unclear of what it could be focused on right now, the tweet points to new content that could be set on the moon.

Prey launched in May 2017 to favorable reviews, but we haven’t really heard much about the game, in terms of expansion, until now. Set in an alternate timeline, the sci-fi thriller had players exploring the space station Talos I and uncovering its many dark secrets.
It’s timely that more content is starting to roll out for the game nearly one year later. In a similar vein, Arkane’s standalone game, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider (2017), which focused on Billie Lurk, launched one year after the release of Dishonored 2.
Following the teaser tweet from the Prey account, some hardcore fans are pointing out where the new content could be set. The Phytheas facility in the game actually sits “deep in a crater on the lunar pole, permanently shadowed and surrounded by kilometers of ice. Beneath Pytheas is a vast network of cramped tunnels where helium-3, hydrogen and platinum are mined.”
The mention of a lunar colony crops up several times throughout Prey, so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched this will be the new location of the expansion. What’s more, a new Twitter account named KasmaCorp- rival to TranStar- popped up on the first of this month and is already followed by several Arkane employees.
There’s a lot of cryptic activity happening with Prey right now, and only time will tell what it all means. Right now, there’s no further information pertaining to the tweet from the game’s account.
