PlayStation Plus Games For April 2021 Revealed

April’s right around the corner which means a brand new set of games will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Sony’s lifted the curtain on what those games are, revealing that Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be free for any PS Plus subscribers.

This month continues the trend of PS5 owners getting an exclusive free game with this month’s being Oddworld: Soulstorm. Sony first revealed this news in their last State of Play where we got a deep dive into the game. Even if you don’t have a PS5 yet, you can still add the game to your PS Plus library so that you can download it for free once you do finally get your hands on a next-gen console.

If you’re in the mood to slay some zombies, Zombie Army 4: Dead War should be able to whet your appetite. Released last year, the game places you in an alternate history 1940s Europe where you’re tasked with saving the world from the undead. You can take them on by yourself or bring along some friends to combat the undead threat.

Finally there’s the PlayStation first-party title Days Gone. Developed by Sony Bend and released in 2019, Days Gone is possibly the biggest game of the month. When the game was first released, it was well-received by fans, though critics didn’t like it as much. That didn’t keep it from going on to become the best selling PS4 exclusive on PSN for 2019, as well as one of the top 10 best selling digital titles for the same year. Days Gone is currently available as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection for PS5 owners, so it being a free game for the month will mainly benefit anyone that’s still on PS4.

All three games will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers from Tuesday, April 6 – Monday, May 3. If you haven’t downloaded the free games for March or Destruction AllStars yet, be sure to do so before this coming Tuesday, as they’ll be leaving the service that day.
