No Man’s Sky “Visions” Update Adds New Fauna, Evolved Creatures, More

Today Hello Games has released update 1.75 for No Man’s Sky entitled “Visions”. The free update brings new exotic worlds, fauna, archaeology, creatures, and more into the game. “Exotic new worlds make exploration more exciting than ever”, Hello Games said.

No Man's Sky

According to the patch notes and the video released along with it, new planet biomes create a “weirder” universe for players to explore, and “bizarre”, evolved creatures now roam anomalous planets. There are new varieties of hazardous flora to be found around the galaxies- carnivorous trap plants and bloated gas flora can be taken out from a distance.

There is also a greater palette variety that makes the environment and the skies appear more vibrant. Hello Games has even thrown in a few rainbows, which appear in planetary atmospheres.

Other additional updates include:

Exotic Trophies: Search exotic plants to discover artifacts that can be claimed as trophies.

Archaeology:  With the Visions update, Hello Games is encouraging players to “unleash your inner archaeologist” and search for the bones of alien lifeforms.

Salvageable Scrap:  Find and scrap the remains of damaged satellites using your multitool. But do so at your own risk, or draw the attention of new, corrupted sentinel drones.

Visions is now available as a free update for PC, PlayStation 4, and XBox One. You can find the full list of updates here, and check out the video below.
