Microsoft Announces Premiere News Broadcast ‘Inside Xbox’

Today Tina Summerford, Director of Programming at Xbox, announced the company is rolling out an all-encompassing premiere news broadcast known as Inside Xbox. Inside Xbox marks “the dawn of a brand-new way for the team to celebrate our news, our games, and our fans,” Summerford wrote. She went on to write:

Inside Xbox is many things. A premier live news broadcast that will highlight breaking announcements and a peek behind the curtain of Team Xbox. A glimpse at the mysteries of game design and a celebration of some of the month’s most exciting games and features. Most of all, it’s an opportunity for us to celebrate and listen to you, the community. All of this will be available streaming in 4K/UHD on supported services and platforms.

Fans will be able to watch Inside Xbox across the multiple platforms and streaming services, including Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook. This is just the latest step Microsoft is taking to ensure a deeper and lasting connection is made with Xbox gamers. Inside Xbox not only allows for greater transparency of the things happening at Xbox, but it also lets people be a part of the growing conversation surrounding the console’s exclusive titles.

For the inaugural episode of the broadcast, hosts Larry Hryb, Graeme Boyd, Jeff Rubenstein, Alex Hebert, Lydia Ellery will be sitting down the the development team at Rare, discussing its anticipated pirate adventure game, Sea of ThievesBased on the trailer, we can also expect to see discussions about PUBG and Far Cry 5.
