Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales Gets Spider-Verse Suit

Insomniac Games and Sony have announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will include Miles’ suit from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the excellent animated film released by Sony Pictures Animation in 2018. We have included the trailer showing off the suit below for your viewing pleasure.

The suit doesn’t just look like the one featured in the movie, though. In an extra cool touch, it makes Miles’ in-game animations mimic those of his big screen counterpart. Insomniac later mentioned that the animations are linked to a suit mod that can be deactivated or attached to other suits in the game.

Pre-orders for any version of the game will receive the Spider-Verse suit, T.R.A.C.K. suit, Gravity Well gadget, and three extra skill points as early unlocks at the beginning of the game. However, Insomniac also confirmed that all of the aforementioned bonuses can also be unlocked through regular gameplay.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases on November 12 for PS4 and PS5, and those who purchase the PS4 version can upgrade to the PS5 version later for free. In late September, while discussing some new features for the game, Insomniac revealed that the franchise’s move to PS5 required the face model for Peter Parker to be recast. This led to Insomniac Creative Director Bryan Intihar tweeting that he had received “threatening notes” over the change and asking for civility in the gaming community.
