LoadingXP was built with the passionate gamer in mind- the ones who not only crave breaking news, but who need to keep conversations about all the latest games going 24/7 by writing and reading unique features articles and opinions. At LoadingXP, we pride ourselves on being an outlet strictly for video games- no movies, television, comics, or technology news, except for console hardware.

Though all positions are currently unpaid, this is a great opportunity to get your name out there, build your writing credit and make lasting connections with other industry professionals, all while working with a small, close-knit team.

We are currently seeking Staff Writers & Contributors

Staff Writer:

LoadingXP is currently seeking new Staff Writers to cover industry news and write features articles and reviews across the site. We are looking for personable and motivated individuals, who can break news in a timely manner and write informative features articles and thoughtful reviews.

Qualifications:

Ability to meet a minimum 3-point quota a week. (3 is the baseline, but more is always encouraged.)
Exceptional writing experience. You must be able to write articles in the English language.
3 samples of previously published work that showcase your writing talent and video game knowledge.

It’d be Really Cool If You Already Have:

Contributors:

LoadingXP is currently seeking new PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch Contributors to cover industry news only. (Only Staff Writers will be able to write reviews and features). We are looking for personable and motivated individuals, who can break news in a timely manner, are capable of writing 300-word news articles, and know where to look for the latest news updates without supervision.

Qualifications:

Ability to meet a minimum 3-point quota a week. (3 is the baseline, but more is always encouraged)
A passion for and knowledge of video games, consoles, and the industry.
Exceptional writing experience. Must be able to write articles in the English language.
3 samples of previously published news articles that showcase your writing talent and video game knowledge.
