ICYMI: Relive The Walking Dead with The Final Season Story Builder

There’s a lot to look forward to with the upcoming release of the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not only is it the beginning of the end of Clementine’s story, but Telltale has been adding some last-minute bonuses to get fans (both new and returning) ready for the episode’s release.

First, there is still time to pre-order The Final Season for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those who do so will receive the entire The Walking Dead Collection as a bonus and can relive the most gut-wrenching moments from the series all over again. In doing so, you will be able to create a save file that can then moved into The Final Season, where your past actions will be taken into consideration.

Second, Telltale has also introduced Story Builder, which the team describes as a “browser-based experience that allows you to relive the series’ most impactful story-branching moments.” The choices players make in the Story Builder will create a version of Clementine that will be reflected in The Final Season. You can find the Story Builder here.

The video invites you to share your results and import your choices into The Final Season when you are finished. You can do this by logging into your account on the official Telltale Games website and saving your results online. Then, once The Final Season releases on August 14th, you can log into that same account when playing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and download your choices from Story Builder.

If that weren’t exciting enough, players who finish the Story Builder will receive a downloadable poster (made in-house) that reflects the choices they’ve made.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release on August 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out some of the new features to the game we enjoyed in the recently-released demo.

Tori is originally from Rapture but now she lives in Chicago. She enjoys open world RPGs, a good narrative-driven game, and is probably the only person still watching The Walking Dead.
