Ubisoft’s futuristic, battle royale game Hyper Scape enters open beta on PC today. The news was announced during the Ubisoft Forward showcase, where players got a brand new look at some of the company’s biggest upcoming titles, like Watch Dogs: Legion and the recently-announced Far Cry 6.
Described as an “urban battle royale”, Hyper Scape is free-to-play, and players will engage in FPS, close-quarters style of combat with 100 Contenders. The open beta for Hyper Scape is a great time for players who may not have gotten into the tech test to finally get some hands-on time with the game.
The beta includes some new features that weren’t in the tech test, such as a new hack, weapon, a free 30 Tier Battle Pass, and a Crown Cast: Squad Invite, which allows Twitch streamers to invite viewers directly into their squad. The open beta is available in all countries on PC, and players’ progress will carry over into the full game when it launches.

Though the open beta is for PC users only, Hyper Scape will also be coming to PS4 and Xbox One when it launches.
