Doom, Wolfenstein, and Fallout 4 Coming to PlayStation Now Library
PlayStation Now subscribers are in for a real treat next month, when three popular Bethesda titles hit the PS Now library. Today at QuakeCon, Bethesda announced that the Doom 2016 reboot, along with Wolfenstein: The New Order and Fallout 4 would be available on the subscription the first week of August.
2019 has been a great year for Doom fans so far, and QuakeCon is continuing to prove that with its marketed “Year of Doom” theme and the exciting announcements that came from QuakeCon’s keynote event today. Not only have Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 been released across all major current-gen platforms today, but the highly-anticipated Doom Eternal is slated for release on November 22, and we got an in-depth look at the 2v1 Battlemode.
In a similar way that Doom Eternal was revamped for modern gaming, Wolfenstein: The New Order also gave new life to a classic series. Players who are interested in the Wolfenstein games (especially given the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood today) have a great opportunity to go back and experience The New Order as part of PlayStation Now. And if you’re needing a break from the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode in Fallout 76, return to the Wasteland of the Commonwealth in Fallout 4.
A PlayStation Now subscription will run you $19.99/month and offers over 750 PS2, PS3, and PS4 games. Doom, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Fallout 4 will be available on the service beginning August 6.
