You Can Play Xbox One X This Weekend

The new console in the Xbox family doesn’t launch until November, but this weekend eager players can try out the Xbox One X at select Best Buy locations across America. You can check out if your local store is participating here. Unfortunately, there are a limited number of cities in only seventeen states participating in the demo.

Xbox One X

Microsoft has partnered with Best Buy to put the Xbox One X on display for two days, along with Forza Motorsport 7. Tomorrow (Sunday, September 24th) the console will be available to play from 11AM – 6PM.

Since its codename Project Scorpio days up to the full reveal at E3 2017, Microsoft has boasted the Xbox One X’s power and its truly immersive 4K gaming and all-around entertainment experience. Not only will players be able to stream and record clips in 4K at 60 fps, but watching movies and streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu will also provided an unmatched, enhanced experience. Even for those who are hesitant to upgrade right away, games and movies on the Xbox One X will still look great on a 1080p screen.

Xbox One X

Microsoft has a growing list of games that will be available with the launch of the Xbox One X, as well as games that will be getting the One X treatment down the line. Despite the console losing its launch title with Crackdown 3, there are still plenty of games that have been enhanced for the Xbox One X, including Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Gears of War 4, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Check out the full list of enhanced games here.

The standard edition of Xbox One X is currently available for pre-order, and the console will launch on November 7th for $499. Let us know if you get some hands-on time with the console at Best Buy!
