Xbox recently announced details about the Black Friday deals that Xbox owners can expect as we move further into the holiday season. On Friday, the company revealed the first wave of deals, and while it’s only an early sampling, the discounts are still pretty impressive.
Sea of Thieves: Anniversary Edition will be offered at 50% off. Rare’s new IP released March 2018, and since then the multiplayer game has seen several updates and DLCs that have expanded the seas for over 8 million players.
The Anniversary Edition includes new features such as additional trading companies and voyages; new story modes like “Tall Tales- Shores of Gold”; and a new mode for competitive play called “The Arena”. Keep in mind, Sea of Thieves is entirely online, so players will need Xbox Live Gold in order to play.
Xbox controllers are also going on sale for Black Friday. Players will be able to save up to $20 on a few new controllers in the Xbox collection, including:
These great deals will be starting on November 24th and will run through December 2, 2019. Subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold can get in on these deals three days earlier, starting on November 21.
The full lineup of deals will be revealed during X019 (Xbox’s annual fest) which starts on November 14th. Inside Xbox will be streaming the events live all weekend on Mixer and on Xbox’s official YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.
