During The Game Awards tonight, Ubisoft officially revealed Far Cry New Dawn after releasing a teaser trailer for the game prior to the event.
Ubisoft is taking a deep dive into the post-apocalypse with this next Far Cry game, which picks up seventeen years after the events of Far Cry 5 when a nuclear blast destroyed Hope County, Montana. A new civilization has emerged from the ashes, and it’s filled with just as much action as you’d expect from a game in this franchise.
During the nearly three-minute reveal trailer tonight, we get a look at the new characters, known as “The Twins”, who’ve learned to survive in this post-apocalyptic world “by any means necessary“. The Twins are the leaders of a ruthless group of scavengers, and the group is taking their destruction into Hope County.
The game will be available on February 15, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
