Square Enix Line Up Announced for NY Comic Con, Schedule of Events Detailed

From San Diego Comic Con to Gamescom, Square Enix has been coming out strong during the last few major events, and the company is going to continue the streak of putting its heavy-hitting titles on full display during New York Comic Con next month.

Kingdom Hearts III

According to a Square Enix press release, at this year’s New York Comic Con, the publisher will be offering hands-on demos for the following titles:

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (available now)
Kingdom Hearts III (January 29, 2019)
Life is Strange 2
(September 27, 2018)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
(available now)
The Last Remnant Remastered (December 6, 2018)

For players who are looking for some hands-on time with Kingdom Hearts III, advance tickets for the demo will be distributed at the Square Enix booth at 10:00am ET every day of Comic Con. The demo will feature a boss battle against the Rock Titan from Hercules, and will also allow players to explore the Toy Box world of Toy Story with Woody and Buzz.

There is only one developer showcase on the lineup so far:

Just Cause 4

On Friday, October 5th at 3:00pm, the developer of Just Cause 4, Avalanche Studios, will host a developer showcase that will be going in-depth about what we can expect when the game releases on December 4, 2018. There will also be daily giveaways at the booth, which will include Just Cause 4 merchandise and Life is Strange 2 t-shirts.
