Shadow of the Tomb Raider was officially revealed in March with a teaser trailer, followed by an extended look at the game and gameplay footage from the press conferences at E3 2018. Just yesterday, Square Enix released gameplay, which showed Lara in a new location known as Patiti. It’s been a whirlwind of Tomb Raider information these last four months, and now the game is just one step closer to release.
Lara’s final adventure will have her struggling through one of her darkest moments yet, as she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse. According to the official description on the Tomb Raider website, the events of this game will “forge her into the tomb raider she is destined to be.”
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on September 14.
