Don’t Miss the Two Resident Evil 7: Biohazard DLCs Releasing This December

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard released back in January, and just one month later Capcom announced a DLC entitled “Not a Hero” would be coming soon. That was the last we’d heard about it, though, before it ultimately got delayed and it led fans to wonder when, exactly, we could expect it to come out. Now Capcom has finally set a release date for the DLC, and thankfully we don’t have to wait that long.

“Not a Hero” sparked a lot of excitement when it was revealed the DLC would focus on series veteran (spoiler alert) Chris Redfield. Chris made a surprise appearance at the end of RE7 when he came down from a helicopter to help Ethan defeat Eveline, only introducing himself as “Redfield”. Fans were quick to notice everything odd about the situation, including how the Umbrella Corporation’s logo on the side of the helicopter was blue instead of its classic red and white. Here is the official description of the DLC from Capcom:

Taking place after the horrific events that befell Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Not a Hero brings a brand new experience playing as Chris to face new threats not met in the main game. As a member of New Umbrella, Chris and team quickly set up a strategy to counter this latest threat. Will Chris once again solve the mystery of this latest outbreak and make it out of the plantation’s dungeons alive?

In addition to “Not Hero“, there is also a second DLC coming entitled “End of Zoe”. Capcom describes the expansion as “shocking”, as it explores the fate of the Baker’s daughter. While “Not a Hero” is completely free, players can purchase “End of Zoe” separately for $14.99. Both of these expansions, along with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition will be released on December 12th.
