Second Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Video Released

We are nearly three weeks away from the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, and Rockstar Games has released the second gameplay video for its highly-anticipated western game. It can be viewed below.

The video showcases how players will spend their time as Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of the game. Robbery looks to be a huge focus, with players having the ability to hold up trains, stagecoaches, and stores. Heists, which were featured in Grand Theft Auto V, can also be undertaken. All of these activities may attract the attention of bounty hunters, who will track the player if a price is put on their head.

The Dead Eye system, which debuted in the first game, will be featured in the sequel as well. This time, however, the system will be upgraded in stages. Players will first be able to slow down time while aiming, and eventually earn the ability to mark targets and reveal critical damage areas. The game can also be played entirely in first-person view, which appears to give it a much more visceral feel.

Red Dead Redemption 2

As with past Rockstar games, Red Dead Redemption 2 will let players take part in a bunch of side activities. In the video, we see Arthur playing cards, dominoes, and five finger fillet, which makes its return from the first game. There also looks to be quite a bit of variety in exploration, as players will be able to traverse mountains, plains, and more while on foot, horseback, and by boat.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on October 26th on PS4 and Xbox One. It will be available in a variety of editions, which include additional content for the game’s story and online modes. We recently learned that the game will require a massive 105GB of storage space, so be sure to make some room on your console’s hard drive.
