PS Plus subscribers have two new, notable games awaiting download this morning. This month’s subscription includes Street Fighter V and the hugely popular battle royale PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
PUBG puts players into fierce competition with 99 other players, as you strive to loot gear and outsmart enemies on the way to victory. Players can opt to spend their time on the battlefield alone and try to become the last man standing, or they can build a squad of up to four other players.
Also in the PS Plus lineup this month is Capcom’s Street Fighter V. Though the game had somewhat of a rocky launch back in 2016, it has seen several major updates in the last few years, most notably the Arcade Edition which brought us new characters, moves, and the varying story paths of six Street Fighter games.
For players who are up for the challenge, Street Fighter V PS4 Tournaments will be starting on September 4th in the U.S. and Canada. According to the official PlayStation Blog, players will be able to “compete for cash prizing, a unique PS4 theme and a custom in-game title.”
Both PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter are free to download now for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and the games will be available until October 5th. For those looking to subscribe, a PS Plus membership is $9.99/month. A 3-month subscription costs $24.99; and a 12-month subscription will cost you $59.99.
