PlayStation Plus Free Games For April Revealed
PS Plus Games For April Revealed
PlayStation has revealed the two free games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download next month in April. The Surge, developed by Deck13 Interactive, will be joining Funcom’s Conan Exiles for a month that promises a challenge for any PS Plus owner looking to dive into either game.
The Surge:
The Surge was released in 2017 as a science fiction take on FromSoftware’s influential Souls series. The brutal, methodical action gameplay takes place in a dystopian setting that has succumbed to the devastation of war and global warming. To survive these horrors, the player is equipped with a customisable exo-suit that allows them to specifically target certain parts of an enemy’s body. Although unforgiving, drawing upon patience and planning is what it takes to achieve a satisfying victory in The Surge, much like the games its based itself off.
Conan Exiles:
Conan Exiles came out in 2018 and is a survival games based in the universe of the iconic barbarian of the same name. In order to stay alive, players must be resourceful as they manage their hunger and thirst and fight off dangerous wildlife both real and mythical. By gaining experience points, the player can customise their character to make surviving The Exiled Lands just that bit easier.
Although not for the feint of heart, both games offer rewarding experiences for those who are willing to grit their way over the games’ steep difficult curves. The Surge and Conan Exiles will be free to download for PS Plus subscribers on April 2, 2019.
In the meantime, subscribers can still download the two free games for March: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness.
