New Trailer Details Xbox One X Enhancements for Shadow of the Tomb Raider

In two days, we’ll be able to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the final game in the rebooted Tomb Raider (2013) series. In anticipation of the launch, Xbox has revealed details about the game’s Xbox One X enhancements in the form of a new, high-action trailer.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Some of the most notable enhancements are limited to the Xbox One X, such as the 4K Ultra HD. Because of this, the Xbox website makes it clear these features won’t be available on the original Xbox One or the One S. On the other hand, though, HDR will be available with supported TVs. Here is the complete list of enhancements that will be available to players on the Xbox One X:

  • Native 4K Ultra HD, which offers the highest gameplay resolution available.
  • HDR functionality, which brings higher contrast and more vivid colors to the game and the environments of South America.
  • True 3D Audio is bringing full support for Dolby Atmos
  • The ability to play in high resolution or high frame rate
  • Enhanced Texture Resolution, which brings gives everything from Lara herself to the bullets flying around her, a more realistic feel.
