Life is Strange 2 Official Trailer Revealed

At the pre-Gamescom showcase yesterday, the Life is Strange 2 trailer was officially released, quenching fans’ craving for a glimpse at another real-life storyline with a supernatural twist. Unlike its predecessors, Life is Strange 2 doesn’t follow the story of Max Caulfield or Chloe Price and it is no longer set in the famous town of Arcadia Bay. In this second season, we follow the lives of two brothers, Sean and Daniel Diaz, as they flee the police after a series of tragic events.

Life is Strange 2 comes from the same studio (DONTNOD) and the co-directors who made the first season and The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. Though not many details have been released concerning the storyline, we do know that while on this journey to escape police and certain separation, the brothers meet a myriad of characters. According to DONTNOD, there will be a lot to discover down the road, including Daniel’s ability, which seems to be the superpower of telekinesis.

With hints to the brother’s spirit animals being wolves and themes of race and immigration present, it is easy to get excited for the second season of Life is Strange. While players will surely miss Max and Chloe, Daniel and Sean’s brotherhood promises to give us another heartwrenching relationship that we will most likely have to fight for to keep together.

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 will be released on September 27, 2018, but you can pre-order now on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the reveal trailer below:
