Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 Will Release in January

Developer Dontnod recently took to Steam to reveal new details about the second episode of Life is Strange 2. Dontnod first opened the statement by thanking the fans for their continued support of the game, then addressed the question at the forefront of everyone’s mind: when will the second episode actually release? After all, the first episode of Life is Strange 2 released at the end of September, and now that a couple of months have passed, fans have quickly noticed Dontnod isn’t following the release schedule of Life is Strange, which had an episode released every other month.

To that Dontnod explains it doesn’t want to rush the development of Life is Strange 2 and fail to deliver the emotional impact and the quality that players deserve. “The ambition of Life is Strange 2,” Dontnod writes, “means that the previous frameworks no longer apply if we are to meet the quality of play and storytelling that our vision for a game like this demands and that you deserve.” It’s for that reason the second episode of Life is Strange 2, titled “Rules”, will be released in January 2019. More about the upcoming episode will be revealed next month.
