Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC Now Available on PS4

It’s been a year since the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III released on PS4 and Xbox One. It released to great industry and user reviews, though some fans expressed deeper criticisms with the game in terms of its narrative. In our own review of Kingdom Hearts III, it was mentioned that “the game really shines in its level design and in its host of new gameplay features.”

Players have the chance to jump back into the game now that its first major DLC, titled Re:Mind, was released on PS4 yesterday. It will be coming to Xbox One on February 25th. Below is the official description of the DLC, courtesy of Square Enix:

Re Mind – the other tale that unfolded during the climax of KINGDOM HEARTS III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.

Aside from expanding on (and hopefully wrapping up the finer story details) of Kingdom Hearts III, Re:Mind has a host of new features, including: a secret episode and boss battle, a premium menu that includes diverse difficulty settings and challenges to gameplay, a new custom photo mode called Data Greeting, and a Limicut episode and 13 boss battles.

Players who opt for the Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind + Concert package will receive all the content from the DLC plus the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra “World of Tres” concert that was recorded on November 30, 2019 and contains 19 tracks.

The Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC is now available on PS4 for $29.99. The concert video package is $39.99. The DLC is currently available for pre-order on Xbox One.
