E3 2021: Far Cry 6 Season Pass Lets You Play as Series Villains
We’re still a few months away from the launch of the highly-anticipated Far Cry 6, but Ubisoft has revealed a major surprise in the form of a DLC Season Pass. During the Ubisoft Forward event Saturday, we learned the season pass (which looks episodic in nature) will allow fans to play as previous, iconic villains from the franchise, including Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3; Pagan Min from Far Cry 4; and, its most recent villain, the religious cult leader Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5. The season pass will also include Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
According to the Season Pass description, players will “delve into these iconic villain’s twisted minds, uncover their backstories, battle their inner demons, and reunite with familiar faces.” The DLC Season Pass will also feature the original cast.
Far Cry 6 launches on October 7th on multiple platforms, and the Season Pass is included in the Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s Edition of the game.
