Ace Attorney Trilogy Bundle Announced

As the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) has unfolded this weekend in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan, we have seen a wealth of announcements from some of gaming’s most notable companies, including Sony, Konami, and Bandi Namco. Today, Capcom added to the event’s excitement by announcing a re-release of the original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. In a recent trailer, Capcom revealed that all three of the original Ace Attorney games will be sold together in an upcoming bundle. Heading to PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in early 2019, both veterans and those new to the franchise will be able to experience the highly lauded series.

First appearing on the Game Boy Advance in 2001, the Ace Attorney series has produced multiple sequels. The game’s first three titles, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney -Trials and Tribulations were staples of Nintendo handheld systems. While the titles received later releases on Windows, the series has not appeared on most platforms.

The Ace Attorney series is a visual novel game, which pits you against a slew of corrupt individuals and shrewd prosecutors. You play Phoenix Wright, a sharp defense attorney who is dedicated to protecting his innocent clients. Soon fans can enjoy the Ace Attorney experience and encounter some of the franchise’s most notable characters, such as Miles Edgeworth, Franziska Von Karma, and Godot.

This announcement comes on the heels of another Capcom classic bundle. The Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle, which released on PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch on September 18, brings some of the best iterations of the beat ‘em up genre to modern consoles.

With the Tokyo Game Show coming to a close, we are sure to see more news on some of gaming’s most anticipated titles.  Be sure to stay tuned with loadingXP for more coverage.
