The February PlayStation Plus Lineup is Actually…Good?

There are some great games heading to PlayStation Plus this month. This is coming from someone who cancelled her PS Plus subscription because the selections each month were underwhelming, and because the “deals” on other items in the PlayStation Store never benefited me. Current subscribers are in luck, though, because there are a couple of gems on the way.

The standouts for the month are definitely Knack and RiME. If you haven’t played RiME yet, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. You play as a boy who wakes up, abandoned, on a strange island. With the company of a fox, you must explore the island’s secrets and overcome challenges in the process.

RiME not only has a memorable narrative, but its visuals are simply stunning, and are reminiscent of games like The Last Guardian. If you enjoy RiME and think, man, I wish I could take this great game with me everywhere, then you’re in luck! The game is also available on Nintendo Switch.

We can’t forget Knackof course. While it’s been mostly dismissed into the realm of less hardcore games (see: family friendly), Knack offers nothing but pure enjoyment and fun in a world where we could use more of it. Play as the shape-shifting relic, Knack, and overcome obstacles in an attempt to save the world from Goblins.

I promise this action platformer is a lot more exciting than that description.

Knack was one of the games to launch with the PlayStation 4 back in 2013, and if you haven’t played it since then, it might be worthwhile to pick it up with PS Plus now.

Other PS Plus titles this month include Spelunker HD and Mugen Souls Z on PS3; Exiles End on PS Vita, and Grand Kingdom on PS Vita and PS4. The PSVR shooter, Starblood Arena, will also be available throughout the month.

All of these games will be available tomorrow, February 6. so don’t forget to download them.

Tori is originally from Rapture but now she lives in Chicago. She enjoys open world RPGs, a good narrative-driven game, and is probably the only person still watching The Walking Dead.
